MMOSwapper is a market place where you can trade almost anything for the most popular MMO games with millions of game players around the world. Our market place is more efficient and serves you better compared to in-game merchants for at least the following reasons:
You can advertise to the whole gaming world, for longer periods of time
You can ask or bid for a price that you feel is reasonable
You are provided with many trading opportunities that help enhance your gaming experience.
By way of example, the trades you may want to carry out through our site would include, but are certainly not limited to, the following:
Trade 1: You have picked up some very special items that you won’t use, but are valuable. Through our site, you will find some players that are in great need of these items, and are willing to pay higher prices for them compared to in-game merchants.
Trade 2: You want get this unique set of armour that will bring the best out of your character. However, you find it almost impossible to pick them one by one in the game. In-game merchants either don’t have them, or ask for ridiculously high prices for these items. Through our site, you will have a much better chance of putting your armour together faster and cheaper through trading with other players.
Trade 3: You have picked up some artifacts that your character can’t use, and they sell for dirty cheap at in-game merchants’. Now you can trade these artefacts either for currency or for artifacts that you can equip with other players through MMOSwapper.
How do I register
To create your account, please choose the “Register” link on the navigation bar or use any of the links available on the home page.
When registering you will be asked to complete a short form which includes standard information such as your contact details, preferred login credentials etc.
All fields are mandatory, except for “Direct Payment Settings”.
Should you encounter any registration difficulties please contact us.
How can I place a bid
Placing a bid on an item you are interested in couldn’t be easier. When viewing the item details page, you will have two areas from which you can place your bid, one next to the item details and a second at the bottom of the page.
To place your bid, simply enter the amount you wish to bid (e.g. 50). Please note no currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction currency.
Once done you will be asked to review your bid. To submit your bid simply press the “Place Bid” button.
If your bid is high enough to take the lead in the auction, a confirmation message will be displayed to you. However if your bid has not taken the lead, you will be invited to make a further bid.
Should you decide to retract your bid this can be done via the “Current Bids” section in Members Area.
You can also place a proxy bid, proxy bidding allows you to place your “High Bid”. At all times you will only pay the lowest required bid should you win the auction. For example, if the current bid on an auction is 500.00 you can place a proxy bid of 2,000. Should you remain the only bidder you will only pay 500.00. However should the item receive other bids the site will automatically re-bid for you (up to 2,000 in this scenario) to ensure you remain in the lead.
How can I initiate and complete a trade
Trade within the same game: This is the preferred and recommended way of trading by MMOSwapper simply because it involves less credibility risk from both trading parties.
In order to initiate a trade, you will need to register with updated and accurate information with MMOSwapper. Then, select IGC (In Game Currency) and specify the currency you will be using. You can also give the other players the chance to offer other items in exchange, if you enable the “swap” option for your auction.
Once your auction is ended, you and the other party will exchange contact information and log in the MMO involved to complete the trade.
Trade between different games: This trading option is more risky because of increased settlement risk (one trading party fails to deliver the promised item or pay the currency). This is largely attributable to the fact that, different from “same-game trades”, the finalization of trades between different games can hardly take place at the same time. As such, you are highly advised to carefully evaluate your trading partner’s credibility based on his or her reviews, and to proceed with caution. Please note that you are held solely responsible for any loss that may incur through such transactions.
You can state in the description box that you want to trade between games, and provide detailed information on what you are looking for and what you are offering. The finalization of a transaction could take a variety of forms that are agreed upon by both parties.
